The rider just needs to sign up and the awards are put into their accounts once they are in the system. KTM contingency will be paid out in ‘KTM Bucks’ for all classes with the exception of the Pro classes. ‘KTM Bucks’ are redeemable for KTM SpareParts, KTM PowerWear and KTM PowerParts at any participating KTM Dealer. Pro and Pro 2 riders who finish in the top ten and top five respectively (at year end) will receive a cash contingency payout.In addition to KTM’s contingency offering, KTM is rewarding KTM racers with a $15.00 KTM voucher for each individual race entry per round of the WORCS. All you have to do is show up on the gate of the WORCS race you entered and you will automatically get a $15.00 KTM voucher valid at any participating KTM dealer. The $15.00 voucher is eligible for participants in all classes with the exception of the unclassified classes. “We know that money is tight and it is hard for racers to continue to come out and race an entire series. Although $15.00 is not a huge amount, when you add it up over all races a KTM rider may enter during the WORCS events, it can total up to a good amount of money to help the KTM rider prep their bike for the next race,” commented Factory FMF/KTM Team Manager Antti Kallonen. “KTM has always been actively involved in the WORCS events,” remarked Sean Reddish, WORCS promoter. “We are excited to have KTM back on board with a 2011 contingency program and even more excited about the $15.00 bonus awards that are available to each KTM rider that competes in a 2011 WORCS race.”Information on how to sign up for the KTM Contingency Program will be available in mid-January.
